VOICE-TESTING POST
Hey there! So I have characters, you all have characters... and I need some experience threading with some of my characters! Help a guy out? I'm gonna put some headers for different characters in here, and then toss prompts up in response to them! They... will probably be entirely murdergame-themed prompts, I am a simple creature. Feel free to respond!
If you want to do something that isn't a listed prompt, let's plan something out quick and one of us can drop a Bespoke Starter in response to the character toplevel! I am, perhaps, A Sucker for things like. You know. Shipping. If a character isn't ota, I'll mention it in the umbrella! But please do contact me elsewhere for other prompts. We can figure something out!
Uh... have fun and stay safe out there?

Olive Silverlock | DC Comics (Gotham Academy)
Murdergame Prompts I
Age: 16 | Species: Human | Occupation: Descendant
Likes: Her friends, mysteries, acting, Bruce Wayne (sort of)
Dislikes: Fire, jerks who aren't her friends, Batman
Traits: Withdrawn, complicated, haunted
Trivia: Olive Silverlock was once briefly trapped in a repeating, never-ending Sweet Sixteen party.
Issue 1
[ What strikes her first, when Olive wakes, is how bright things are. There are a lot of words one could use to describe Gotham Academy, but "bright" is hardly one of them. "Bright" doesn't really apply to a lot of places in Gotham.
Then the smell hits her. Clean, crisp. Recycled air, tinged with... something.
Medical? No, it can't, she-
She bursts out of her room, and then the third thing registers.
Not medical. Scientific.
Judging by the massive window looking out on the ocean floor? Something is going on here, and there's a massive part of her that instantly loathes it. The captivity, but also... ]
I... what? Hello?
Issue 2
[ Motive Day. Everyone's favorite day of the week down here in... wherever here is. The Pacific Ocean, apparently? Maybe?
Olive hasn't exactly been able to totally brush motives off, but none of them have really gotten to her. Not until now, anyway. She just sort of stands there, staring at the photograph in her hands.
Is. Is the corner of it smoking? ]
1 - Spoilers fine if they come up
[A Japanese-looking kid a little younger than Olive turns from where he was staring out that same huge window at the deep blue sea. He's visibly confused and concerned, but something in his eyes is a little harder, somewhat assessing--as if this isn't the first time in recent memory he's found himself in way over his head. He scratches his fingers through his hair, grimacing.]
You wouldn't have a clue what's going on here, would you? 'Cause I'm coming up empty.

[ She exhales, visibly somehow... calming down a little? It's not Arkham, which means... ]
You don't happen to have Aquaman's number, do you? I think we're a little outside of Gotham.
no subject
Nope, can't say I do.
[He might be a kid from 1985 Japan, but he's a rich, nerdy kid from 1985 Japan. Whether or not he's heard of Aquaman in particular, the name construction sure sounds like...]
Is that someone you can normally call on for help?

[ a beat. ]
Wait, you don't know who Aquaman is?
no subject
no subject
[ Wait. No, she knows Maps. She has the barest hint of knowledge that this is... ]
No, not like Power Rangers, like real life. C'mon, man.

Rrright. Well, you got me. I’m not familiar with, uh, “Aquaman.” And you haven’t seen any robots or fancy computers around here, have you?
