[Things had settled pretty nicely since they'd arrived in Allene's home universe, despite some difficulties. It was possible SHIELD had picked them up for interrogations and various deals had to be made to ensure Allene didn't go around attacking heroes and stealing their tech again. But it had, by and large, calmed down to her and Jyn finding a nice place to build a life together.

Which brought them to this particularly eventful day. A day that many people dreaded for several reasons and Allene had at least a dozen reasons to be somewhat nervous about it.

It was time to introduce her girlfriend to the family.

Needless to say, Allene is pacing around the apartment and going through checklists and various coding ideas and considering all the various things that could go horribly wrong.]

[ Jyn, meanwhile, had been doing her very best to fit in since she got to Allene's universe ("616," was it? She was pretty sure that number had been mentioned.), and discovered the wonders of things like jeans (not combat pants!), plaid shirts (comfy at several temperatures, and keep her scars all covered up!), podcasts (there are so many of them!), and mac and cheese (it's mac and cheese!).

She walks out of their bedroom and raises an eyebrow. ]

Everything alright?

[Let's be real, Allene has been all about showing Jyn this new world. Food, animals, various media, the works. Seeing Jyn enjoying new things is her bread and butter.

She jumps a little at the sound of the good gf.]

Oh, uh, fine. Good. Great! Well, good. Fine. Uh.

[ That eyebrow is not lowering. ]

Fine? Are you sure, dear?

...Dang it Jyn, its really hard to argue with your eyebrows!

[Sigh.] I just really want Sis's visit to go well. But also... well, its stupid.

[ The eyebrow lowers. ]

Tell me anyway?

[She wrings her hands.]

I mean, I know its dumb! I know its really really dumb.

...But what if you guys meeting goes too well?

[ Jyn crosses over to her. ]

Who's the one who got me smiling so much that that's what surprised Cassian more than me being alive?

...Me? [So reluctant to admit it.]

And who's the one I shared a room with for a month in the middle of a blood ritual murder mansion?

Mew Mew. [Okay now she's being somewhat jokey.]

Oh, of course. My darling girlfriend Mew Mew.

I always knew she was gonna steal you away.

She's just too cute, I couldn't resist.

Clearly I need to seduce you and steal you away.

Oh? And how exactly do you plan to do that?

Well.... [She steps forward, slowly wrapping her arms around her hips.] I could think of a few ways.

[ Jyn's eyebrow raises, winding her own arms over Allene's shoulders. ]

Strong start.

I thought so. Then maybe I'd try some...

[And then just kissing, kissing le space hero.]

[kissedasquirrel]

[ Kissing works. Kissing works great. And after, once she's pulled away just a little... ]

I love you, Allene. For you. And no one's walking in here and changing that.

[She leans on her a little. Well, a lot.]

[Ah, well. Just gonna kiss her some more then.]

[ That's very legit, tbh. Kissing is good. ]

[Things are good now, nice even! Wendy could go so far as to say they were perfect, now that she'd settled in a relationship pretty well with Karolina. There were no deaths, no weird motives they had to sit through each week, and no weird living bag of bugs talking about vore.

That meant they could do literally anything.

Which is to say, they're out at a New Years concert in Gravity Falls. Well, "at" a concert in that Wendy's found a nice place for both of them to hang that wasn't in any mosh pits.]
