Good unnecessarily aggressive question, hypothetical person! Basically, do you remember that "Give me one of your characters and I'll match them with one of mine" Plurk meme?

"I'm a strawman you invented for this post why would I-"

ANYWAY, this post is like that, because I love that meme a lot and have way too many characters by far. So here is how this is gonna work, basically!

1. You leave a comment with a character journal you want matched up!

It's important that in this comment you include if you want f/f, f/m, m/m (I have like two or three workable dude muses as a warning right upfront), or are open to whatever, as well as what kinds of characters you think might ship well with yours, and like... a quick summary of their personality for me! Also specify if you're here for smut or not or if you want assumed cr or a particular relationship stage or... whatever other information you want to put in. Age range, certain characters/canons you definitely don't want, whatever! I wanna stretch out some of my lesser-used journals here, though, so no specific character requests!

2. I will reply with an offer!

You are obviously free to veto or respond or whatever, but I'll run through my muselist (or inevitably for someone make a whole damn new account) and find someone and reply with an ooc hashing-things-out comment. If it works, reply with a starter or an affirmation if you want me to start!

3. WATCH THAT MAGIC HAPPEN or potentially watch this idea crash and burn

[ Oh. You know, that was not actually the response she expected from Mira, somehow. But hey, sometimes it's good to be called on something. And being stuck somewhere and asked to kill people, or be worried about other people doing murders? Anyone would get more than a little stressed.

They can talk about feelings or whatever when they're done with whatever happens next. For now, Johanna steps forward, smirking. ]

Careful you don't bang your head on the way down.

[ And, true to her word, she'll start by pushing Mira back onto her bed. ]

[ Maybe some of the others have rubbed off on her, here. Johanna especially. (Ha.) She's surprised at it, too, at her boldness--she's never quite had the guts to say anything like that. And while this is all kind of-- alright, very new, as in "she's never smashed before, because that's the vibe she's getting here," she's definitely not regretting it.

Her back hits the bed, and she does not in fact thwack her head on it. Nice. ]

So far, so good.

[ She grabs Johanna's hand, pulling her down to join her. ]

[ Good job, Mira! Given murdergame beds, that may or may not be a feat in itself.

Johanna can respect it, honestly. There's no time here to not go after things if you want them and can get them, you know? Or people you want. ]

I don't make offers I go back on.

[ And onto the bed Johanna goes, positioning herself to straddle Mira and lean in to make good on the other half of her offer-slash-threat, pressing their lips together. ]

[ She definitely can't see Johanna going back on her offer--it's one of the reasons Mira's so drawn to her. Trust is a touchy, difficult thing, but somehow, Johanna's won it.

She slides her arms around her neck, and she leans up slightly to meet her halfway. Maybe she's a little eager here, but-- listen. She has eyes. She's looked at Johanna with those eyes a lot. She can't be blamed for having thought about this before.

She's just kind of stunned it's actually happening, and she's more than a little out of her element here, but instinct's pretty powerful. As her lips move against Johanna's, she brushes her fingers along the back of her neck. ]

[ I mean. Valid, Mira.

Johanna relents for a moment to press another kiss to Mira's lips, since it's not exactly exciting to just keep their lips pressed together. One of her hands, tragically, is needed to support the position she's in, but the hand not currently supporting her weight on the mattress moves to toy with Mira's hair a little. ]

[ Johanna's struck gold, because Mira's learned just now that she really likes when someone plays with her hair. She's also pretty glad Johanna's taking the lead, but...

She's not gonna not try. Johanna might not be able to use both hands here, but Mira can. She slides one hand into her hair, and just to see how Johanna reacts, she drags her nails down her back. ]

[ Hey, Johanna's not going to say no to Mira reacting like that at all. She shifts when her nails drag to let them go wherever they need to, taking a sharp breath in before kissing Mira again, harder this time. ]

[philoxenia]

[ She's incredibly into the reaction--that she can have that effect on Johanna is pretty bolstering. Mira presses them in a little deeper, taking in a breath when Johanna does. And when she kisses her again, harder, Mira lets out a little gasp, lips parting under Johanna's. ]

[going_up]

[ What can she say? This is a good time so far. Johanna takes advantage of the parting of Mira's lips to push forward with her tongue and deepen the kiss. ]

[philoxenia]

[ Definitely a good time. Mira holds her closer, breath catching as she pushes her tongue against Johanna's. And just to make things a little spicier, she hooks her leg around Johanna's hip, pressing them together. ]

[going_up]

[ Well, if she was waiting for a sign to move further, here, Johanna supposes that's what that is. She bites lightly at Mira's lip as her free hand drifts lower, resting at the small of her back for a moment first. ]

[philoxenia]

[ Yeah, okay, she's learning all kinds of stuff about herself tonight... like that she really likes being bitten? Hm! She's not gonna stop Johanna at all, but she does tighten her hand in Johanna's hair and tugs, just lightly. ]

[going_up]

[ She's going to go ahead and take that as approval, hand now moving under Mira's shirt, fingers brushing up the bare skin of her back. If it starts the whole shirt moving up... well, the novelty shirts the vending machine gives out suck anyway, it's fine. ]

[philoxenia]

[ That's insanely good, and Mira's breath catches. She pulls lightly at Johanna's hair again, then breaks away, cheeks flushed. ]

Maybe... you should just take it off.

[ because yeah the shirt is dumb as hell, but it's better than what's in their closets ]

[ Johanna pulls an expression for a moment as though she's weighing pros and cons, then: ]

Works for me.

[ And so she will, in fact, work on removing it! So long, bad pun graphic tee. ]

[ Thank god, there's nothing that kills the mood faster than a bad graphic tee. Probably. Anyway.

She's wearing a pink bra here. There is lace involved. You're welcome, Johanna. And maybe there's a tiny bit of anxiety involved here--which might just show on her face--because she's not sure if Johanna's going to like what she sees? It's fine. ]

[ For sure, for sure. Johanna probably has one like. Inside out with the sleeves ripped off or something, that seems Right.

Johanna takes Mira in for a moment, then smirks. ]

Yeah, you look better with it off.

[ And she's going to move to. Kiss at Mira's neck, actually. ]

[philoxenia]

[ Oh, well. That takes care of that. Mira doesn't doubt Johanna, either, which is strange. Shockingly, when someone's open and honest with you, you tend to believe them.

She doesn't really have time to dwell on that rabbit hole before Johanna's kissing her neck, and she might be a little embarrassed as she lets out a gasp. She brushes her fingers through Johanna's hair again, tugging lightly. ]

W-well, I'm glad you're enjoying the view.

[going_up]

[ Johanna's not the most honest person out here, but when it comes to Mira? She doesn't see a need to lie or pretend. She feels like she might be lying to herself about... something, sometimes, but that seems like one of the Bad Thoughts she lives with.

Winning a Hunger Games makes you super normal. ]

You know it.

[ And she's going to just. Look. I cannot sit here, playing Johanna Mason, and say she is not 100% a hickey-giving person. You're getting a hickey, Mira. Congrats. It is absolutely not in a place you will be reasonably able to hide it. ]

[philoxenia]

[ Listen, she's not going to judge Johanna about that. She's got some stuff tucked in her back pocket, too, but not because she doesn't... you know, trust her. It's just-- not the kind of stuff that makes for great conversation.

Anyway. You know, she should've seen this coming? She's a flustered mess by the time Johanna's done, but-- ]

D-did you leave a mark?

[ She doesn't sound bothered about that. Probably because she absolutely isn't. ]

[going_up]

If I did it right, I did.

[ She says pretty much into her neck before pulling back to look at her work. ]

I can even it out on the other side if you want.

[philoxenia]

[ She considers that for a moment. ]

... well, I won't say no.

[ look what you've done, johanna ]

[ she sees nothing wrong here

anyway, it's time for another hickey, on the other side of Mira's neck. but not exactly symmetrical, that would look weird. ]

[philoxenia]

[ honestly, they're both winning here.

Mira holds onto her shoulders, fingers digging in lightly. She doesn't say anything, but judging from the way she's breathing harder and the little groan she lets out, it's not like she can put together a coherent thought right now anyway. ]

And Johanna is going to go ahead and trail kisses (with occassional small bites) slowly down Mira's shoulder, moving the strap of her bra away as she does. ]
