[Tiny princess has come to visit, happily hopping through a mirror that shone brightly before letting her out. She waves as if there's nothing wrong with this.]
[It's been a few months since their road trip to end all road trips started. They've been a variety of places; Natalie's world for a few days so she could tie up a few loose ends, the homes of their friends, various landmarks across various worlds... Until one day, Natalie realizes somewhere incredibly important, extremely crucial that they haven't been yet.
Disneyland.
That's how they end up in California on a bright day in the spring. It's crowded and hectic, because of course it is, but somehow Natalie doesn't mind the crazy amounts of people all around. She's more focused on the look on Jezebel's face every time she sees something new.]
[It's so crowded! And so very... she feels like this is what Hell would be like if she had run things, and not in a bad way? Fun Hell, where the damned get to ride roller coasters. And maybe actually get better instead of anarchy. And you can buy frozen lemonade!! Which might be the best thing ever.]
[It's probably taken a while to explain every Christmas tradition to Jezebel, but it's been a few years now that they've been together, so Natalie has managed somehow.
For the past few weeks, their shared apartment has been decorated in the holiday spirit, stockings hung up in the living room and a tree bearing all kinds of ornaments. Despite any complications given where Jezebel is from, it feels... warm, somehow. More comforting than she's ever known.
It's the morning of now, and Natalie is shaking gently at Jezebel's shoulder in the morning, speaking with warmth in her voice.]
[It takes Jezebel a second to wake up, but once the sleep's been rubbed out of her eyes and she's properly turned and looking at Natalie she smiles, returning that warmth.]
Not to the day they got out of the Opera, but to the day they started being them, when they sang together for the first time. No matter what came after that, Natalie can't help but think of the first part of that night fondly. It gives her a feeling that's only grown after all this time.
When Jezebel comes back from work, Natalie is in the kitchen, making popcorn. She took the day off, herself. The microwave buzzes as she pulls a bowl from a cupboard, smiling at the other young woman when she enters.]
[Three years. Three years since she finally found love. Almost three years since she'd stopped being the Hell Princess. But her Humanniversary is next week. A much smaller event overall.
She had tried to get the day off too, but it just hadn't been possible. Describing the actual gravity of the event wasn't exactly something she could swing to her boss, so a morning shift it was. She smiles right back when she's greeted, though, any tiredness from the work day lifting from her.]

I haven't seen you in way too long!

[I mean, this is why they went out and got a nice mirror.]
It's been a while, hasn't it?

That sounds pretty rough. I always had a tutor instead of going to school, but months of catch-up homework doesn't sound fun at all.

Oh my god. We have to try Splash Mountain.
no subject
Splash Mountain? Sure, okay!
no subject
Wait. Are you okay with getting really wet? Because, warning you now, it isn't called that for nothing.
no subject
[Sorry, Anna's sister.]

[Time to take Jezebel's hand again so they don't get lost on the way.]
no subject
[WHEN WOULD THEY DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT?
And yes. So they don't get separated. Obviously.]
Lead the way, Natalie!
no subject
[Clearly this is the only reason they would ever hold hands!
Either way, I am saying that the lines here are nonexistent due to the magic of museboxing.]

Hey. Merry Christmas to you, too.

First one in our own place. What do you think of the thirty seconds you've experienced of it so far?
no subject
Hm... strong start, definitely.
[And now she is going to take a turn to kiss Natalie!]
no subject
Oh, you have to see what I got you.
[huh, wonder why she's in such a hurry?]
no subject
[one wonders!]

It's in the living room. I got it all ready before you woke up.

[She rips open the bag and starts pouring the popcorn into a bowl, smiling over at Jezebel.]
Oh, and happy anniversary, I guess.
[She tries to say it casually, but she can't help but sound incredibly fond as she does.]
