Who the fuck is this, Lyndon?:
So one day a bunch of Disney executives, thinking nothing of the consequences for their actions, invented Descendants, a cute franchise of characters who are the kids of classic Disney characters and the worldbuilding isn't hiding a horrifying dystopia at all! Mal is the daughter of Maleficent and Hades, and she is the protagonist. This means they have to reset her awareness of how fucked up the world is every movie, but I don't! She's a nice kid who wants to do her best, but also has to clean up and fix the entire world her boyfriend's stupid parents broke? Very loyal to the people she cares about.
